Casey Shea

www.myspace.com/caseyshea

Whoever said good music doesn't exist anymore has not yet heard of Casey Shea. The lead singer from The Undisputed Heavyweights mesmerizes with the simple and calm mentality displayed on his solo debut album. The 10 songs on Take The Bite satisfy the soul of anyone trying to make it in the modern world along with their overwhelmed ears...he deserves enormous praise.
Beyond Race Magazine

Casey Shea is obviously something special. So why then is he not a household name? The fun little ditties, that are his signature song style, were a popular diversion from the mainstream rock and roll songs of the sixties, but in the new millennium they are a bit of an unconventional oddity. I hold out hope that great, fun, catchy songs like 'Life In A Cube' and 'Lartique' and hands down favorite, 'Maggie's Song' will find an expanded audience...
BJ, B-Sharp Productions

Well-crafted, witty, and whimsically performed....Shea's solo work sounds a lot like Sufjan Stevens without all the bell and whistles, or that God-fearing mentality.

Casey Shea's music is like being in on an inside joke. Of course his songs are great, of course he's a fun and charismatc performer, but his stories of love and beauty in the everyday world gives us all something we all need.
Alloy Radio

The first time I heard Casey Shea's "Life In a Cube" I immediately adopted it as my theme song. Then I heard "We're All The Same" and thought I might need two. Casey is a riveting performer, delivering flawless vocals on songs that are both delicately crafted and irresistibly sing-able. He has a rare talent for handling difficult themes with grace, humor, and hope. Sort of a one-man rollercoaster, a guru, and a revivalist set on spin. Just sit back and get ready to shout "amen!"

Picture a sort of grandoise brit pop folk, lush songs with emotional melodies and a smooth voice and you've got Casey Shea.
Urban Folk Magazine

With cascading melodies and thoughtful lyrics, Casey's calling is writing compelling, interesting, and entertaining songs filled with catchy choruses that are both meaningful and unforced. Jezebel Music

Casey has caught eyes and ears around the city with his undeniable charm, effervescent stage presence, and sincere songs ranging from sensitive observations to introspective letters to a lover.
