Peaks and Valleys is a folk/country duo singing soft songs about mountains, the bible belt, love, and Brooklyn. This group has been working together for 2 years playing banjo, auto harp, guitar, and washboard. Rachael is originally from Appalachia and David from New Jersey. This mountain girl and carpetbagger sing simple songs that you can sit back and relax to. They have played at Matchless, Mercury Lounge, American Folk Art Museum, and Music on Milton. They recently released there first album at Matchless joined by Annie Crane and Jason Benjamin. This summer they will be featured on Americana Cross Roads Radio Hour.
